Organised by the 4P Secretariat in collaboration with the OECD and countries including Guinea, Benin, Egypt, Kenya, Denmark, and France, the dialogue aims to bring together beneficiary countries, OECD members, export credit agencies, and other stakeholders to exchange on ways to maximise the contribution of export credits to sustainable development. The initiative also seeks to address concerns regarding the transparency and accuracy of country risk assessments, which are central to the OECD Arrangement on Officially Supported Export Credits and currently categorise most Sub-Saharan African countries under the same risk category, despite their diverse economic realities. Rooted in the commitments of the 4P Leaders’ Communiqué and the 2023 Paris Summit, the dialogue aims to contribute to reforming global financing mechanisms to be more equitable, transparent, and responsive to developing country needs.
Dialogue on Export Credits
